Request this course →- One of the most beautifully landscaped courses in Japan
- Caddied rounds as standard — full classic club service
- Seasonal flowers and creeks on nearly every hole
Chiba Birdie Club is where Japanese golf turns into gardening as an art form. Thousands of flowering trees and shrubs are planted so that something is always in bloom — cherry blossoms in spring, azaleas in early summer, fiery maples in autumn — while creeks and ponds thread through a layout that is far more demanding than its beauty suggests.
This is a premium, caddied experience: rounds are guided by professional caddies who read the quick, subtly-breaking greens for you, and the clubhouse service matches the grounds. At 7,036 yards from the tips with water in play on many holes, better players get a real examination; everyone else gets one of the most photogenic rounds of their life an hour from Tokyo. If your trip deserves one splurge day near the capital, make it this one.

Visitor FAQ
Why is Chiba Birdie Club more expensive than other Chiba courses?+
It is a premium club: caddied rounds are standard, the landscaping and conditioning are exceptional, and visitor access is limited. It is consistently one of the most memorable courses our guests play.
When is the best season to play here?+
Late March–April for cherry blossoms and November for autumn colors are spectacular, but the planting is designed so the course looks beautiful in every month.
Do the caddies speak English?+
Most caddies speak Japanese only, but green-reading and club suggestions cross the language barrier easily. We include a small phrase card with your booking confirmation.
