Forest Narusawa sits in Narusawa village, on the north-western foothills of Mt. Fuji and about fifteen minutes by taxi from Kawaguchiko station. It is a members' club that also takes visitors: non-members book after a free registration on the club's reservation system, which is in Japanese and is the part we handle for you.
The club credits the layout to Masaru Okubo and describes eighteen strategic holes that use the natural shape of the ground. The two nines are both par 36. From the back tees the course measures 7,000 yards, and from the regular tees 6,340. Play is self-play on two-seat carts with GPS, and the clubhouse has a bath, a practice area and a restaurant with a seasonal menu.
We telephoned the club in October 2026 and confirmed that it accepts overseas visitors and bookings made on a visitor's behalf. Rental clubs cost ¥3,300; men's sets come in left- and right-handed versions, women's sets in right-handed only.
The club publishes its visitor rates by season. For 1 to 23 November it lists ¥13,030 on weekdays and ¥17,980 at weekends and on holidays, including the cart and tax; online plans for two players can carry a surcharge. Green fees move by season and by day of the week, and online plans change from date to date. The figures on this page are examples we checked in October 2026, not a quote — we confirm the final rate for your date with you before the tee time is booked.
